Spring Recital

Gretchen did a nice job in her Spring Dance Recital.
Her Ballet dance was to "Children of the World" and her Jazz number was "Hey Mickey"

Baptism Day

We had such a wonderful day! Gretchen was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She got to be baptized along with her good friend Katelyn. All the kids being baptized from the Stake that day performed a sweet song. We had lots of family there and a nice brunch back at the house afterwards. We are very proud of Gretchen and know she will be a wonderful witness of Christ.

My Soundtrack

Another tag...

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the "next" button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool!

Opening Credits: "Say It Right"Nelly Furtado
Waking Up: "Canned Heat" Jamiroquai
First Day At School: "Let Love In" Goo Goo Dolls
Falling In Love: "Pictures of You" The Cure
Fight Song: "Pretty Baby" Vanessa Carlton (not very fitting :-)
Breaking Up: "Cowboys and Angels" George Michael
Prom: "Feel Good Inc." Gorillaz
Life's OK: "What you waiting for" Gwen Stefani
Mental Breakdown: "Information Travels" Deathcab for Cutie
Driving: "More than a love song" Augustana
Flashback: "It's all for you" Janet Jackson
Getting Back Together: "Veronica" Elvis Costello
Wedding: "You Woke the Morning" Matt Kearney
Birth of Child: "When the stars go blue" Tim Mcgraw
Final Battle: "New Born" Muse
Death Scene: "Wait" Sarah McLachlan
Funeral Song: "You should be dancing" Bee Gees
Credits: "Harder to Breathe" Maroon 5

Okay, so I think I'll tag Eve, Heather M., Angela H., and Kristen P (again I know, but I want to see what yours would be)

Weekend in St. George

When we got into St. George, we headed straight for a park! Notice the green grass in the background! It was beautiful weather, we had a great time!

The following 6 posts are from the trip--it was hard deciding which pictures to post--

Our condo

We loved the condo we stayed in, it was perfect for our two families. It was just outside of Hurricane, just off of I-15

A morning run

April and I went on a fun hour-long run (adventure really). We went around the Coral Canyon golf course and neighborhoods, headed back on a highway, got stopped by some lost golfers in a minivan, traversed a construction site, jumped a barbed wire fence, crossed the four lanes of fast moving traffic on the highway, and finally (whew) made it back to the condo.
