Two weeks later

This is the scar two weeks out. It is pretty bumpy, raised, and red. I just hope with time it will keep fading and smooth out a little. My plan is to stay out of the sun, use that mederma cream...and we'll see what it looks like with time.

The accident

The Sunday after Christmas, I got the stomach flu. After throwing up all day, I decided to take a bath, then got into the shower to wash my hair. When I was in the shower, I passed out, fell and split my head open. The wound was open to my skull. An ambulance came and took me to the er. The doctor did three layers of stitches. On the top layer, there were 17 stitches! The next couple of days after my eyes got more swollen and kind of greenish/yellowish (bruising I think). Now I am 2 weeks out and recovering pretty well.

Beyond crazy

Life has been insane lately. The holidays were way busy, from November on. Then just before the new year, I had an accident that has side-tracked me a bit. I hope to catch up on old posts and post some new things in the New Year!
