PEACE

This weekend was our Stake Conference. I have to say-- it was so good. We were able to go to the adult meeting Saturday night and the Sunday session. The theme of the Conference was finding peace and joy. What a wonderful message for living in this tumultuous world. Some of my favorite talks were about having peace in your home, finding peace through music, and experiencing peace in the temple. It seemed like each of the talks focused on the ultimate source of peace, our Savior. I was definitely lifted and I'm so grateful my family and I were able to hear those inspired words.

#22 on the team

Taylor played Jr. Jazz for the first time this year. He loved it! He is such a sports guy. He seriously loves sports...playing and watching. He played soccer in the fall and I asked him which sport he liked better. Well, he couldn't choose. He likes them both.

Just by chance, he was given the #22 jersey. And when I played basketball in high school, that was my number, too. I thought that was a fun coincidence! I have to laugh at the picture of me...basketball is a winter sport, hope the white skin isn't too blinding...gotta love the short shorts and high socks...and the red lipstick--lovely!
