PEACE

This weekend was our Stake Conference. I have to say-- it was so good. We were able to go to the adult meeting Saturday night and the Sunday session. The theme of the Conference was finding peace and joy. What a wonderful message for living in this tumultuous world. Some of my favorite talks were about having peace in your home, finding peace through music, and experiencing peace in the temple. It seemed like each of the talks focused on the ultimate source of peace, our Savior. I was definitely lifted and I'm so grateful my family and I were able to hear those inspired words.

Those were my favorite talks, too. I'm definitely going to work on the dinnertime craziness Lori Jo talked about. And I love how Pres. Lynn said that peace is a gift to the obedient. So if I need more peace in my life, I know I need to improve. So logical. I felt so pampered driving 3 minutes to stake conference. In Oregon we always had to drive hours, and as a kid...well, you know what I mean.

Me too! It was all so rejunviating and good to hear. I walked away with a lot of great ideas and a new commitment to try a little harder to be a little better. We really do live in such a wonderful stake with such amazing people. I know I have grown so much since we moved here, mainly because of the people who have touched my life for the better. You being one of them! I truly feel blessed.
