Christmas Eve

We had a quiet Christmas Eve at home. Mike's parents came and ate dinner with us. After dinner, we had a little program. Gretchen played a couple of Christmas songs on the keyboard for us. Then Taylor sang a song from school about December. Dylan recited the poem he learned in preschool, Five Little Bells. Then all three kids sang together, a song they learned at church. Everyone shared Christmas memories. Then we turned on the Nativity DVD. We watched that and then everyone wrote down a gift they would like to give Jesus for the upcoming year.
After that we had some treats while we watched Mr. Krueger's Christmas. Then the kids had to get to bed, so that Santa could come!

So fun! You do the cutest stuff with your family. I love the idea of them having putting on a little program for you. Too cute.

What a great Christmas Eve you guys had! That sounds so nice. Looks like you have been busy posting lots of fun Christmas time activities. I was sad that I missed the ward party, but I am glad you posted those pics, those costumes ARE so cute! I heard the kids were all really cute. (The costumes are Steph Staley's Mom's)

Happy New Year to you guys!

I love Christmas Eve. Looks like you guys had a great holiday season. Now if we can survive the off track weeks! Oh, I love the picture of the kids the Sunday before Christmas. I have way too many pictures with Tanner having a similar expression!

What a wonderful idea of writing down a gift to give to Jesus. I think that would be such a wonderful reminder of why we celebrate Christmas.
