You CAN make a difference
For those of you who live near me...I don't know if you had noticed the weeds that were around the trees and in the cement cracks of the median of the street that enters our neighborhood off the main road. It would bother me so much every time I drove into and out of the neighborhood. Well, I emailed the city on Monday and by that afternoon they had people out there clearing out the weeds! After I submitted my complaint, I was given a number for my request so that I could go back on the website, enter the number and see what has been done about it. They said the weeds would be taken care of by today. And today I drove by there and the weeds are gone! Mike teased me that it wouldn't help to email them--well it totally did!

Is it a functioning government- or do you have "connections"? LOL
Way to go active citizen! I always mean to go to those city/planning meetings, but I never have. Someday, right?
Way to go Erin!!! You rock girl! Preston will like this one. He's always out spraying the cracks in the road up and down our street. I have noticed those weeds too, I will have to notice next time I drive out of the neighborhood. Thanks to YOU it will be all nice and pretty!!! :)
